While Windows Mobile phones work incredibly well as a phone/PDA hybrid, they are still like their desktop software counterparts: barebones. As such, the apps listed below help give your device a well-rounded existence:

Windows Live Get directory information, directions, maps, traffic and movie times through your phone in an easy to use, integrated system. The system integrates with the user’s Contacts so that inputting addresses and saving contacts is a breeze.

Facebook for Windows Mobile 6 Microsoft and Facebook have finally put out a decent Facebook application that allows social-beings to stay connected. Notable features include the integration of the Facebook phonebook, the ability to upload pictures and videos directly, easy access to status updates, and easy access to your profile, friends’ profiles, and messages. The flow among the different sections is pretty seamless and the loading times seem to be much quicker due to the established interface which does not require the whole page to be rendered again (i.e. when viewing Facebook through a mobile web browser).

Pocket Nintendo This Wiki site shows how to install and play the classic Nintendo games from your Windows Mobile phone.

Fizz Bill Now This is a easy-to-use tip calculator. With Bill Now, simply tap in the bill cost, the percentage of tip you feel they deserve and the number of people the bill should be split by.
